Privacy Policy

The TDC Foundation is committed to ensuring that any personal information with which it has been entrusted is managed in the most ethical manner and, as such, has created a Privacy Policy and Code. The information collected by the Foundation is done solely for the purposes of conducting its fundraising objectives.

Therefore, we have created a Privacy Code (for protecting information relating to donors – CSA Model CAN/CSA Q830-96). You can request a copy from our Privacy Officer, Nicole Lascelle, Executive Director, director@tdcf.ca

Our objective is to be as transparent as possible about our practices regarding the information we collect about donors. Our Privacy Code explains what information we collect and for what purposes, how we collect it, who has access to it, how we protect it, how we ensure its accuracy, how you can correct inaccuracies, and who is accountable for ensuring that the Code is properly implemented and respected.

Our Commitment

The Board of Directors of the TDC Foundation is fully committed to the terms and conditions that are outlined in the Code and is responsible for its application and adherence to each provision.

Any individual may challenge our compliance to the Code, and we will respond in a reasonable amount of time. In addition, any individual may challenge the accuracy of information we possess about them, and we will make the necessary changes if deemed appropriate.

As is often the case in our society, especially in this rapidly evolving technology environment, we must find a balance between protecting the information with which we have been entrusted and taking advantage of its availability for the sake of raising funds to support our mission. The Foundation will strive to ensure this balance is always achieved and maintained
